M2
M2 is a globular cluster relevant for its outstanding position in the Aquarius constellation and its incredible vastness and age. In order to measure its metallicity value as well as estimate its age and the age–metallicity relation, we determined the extinction, the reddening and the distance of M2 in furtherance of cross-checking those data with the literature. Through accurate calculations and the support of the
data deduced by the fitting of isochronous we were able to determine the correspondence between our data and the aforementioned literature. No new conclusions have been reached but neither have discrepancies with previous studies.
